What to Expect at Your First Appointment: A Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome to our dental practice! Serving the Hanover area for over 40 years, our family-owned practice is committed to treating every patient with the respect and care they deserve. We’re excited to be a part of your journey toward a healthier, brighter smile, and we understand that a first visit to a new dental office can come with a few questions. Here’s a clear, friendly guide to what you can expect when you step through our doors.

1. Scheduling Your Appointment

To schedule your first visit, give us a call at 781-878-5522. While you’re welcome to contact us through our online intake form for preliminary information, we’ll need to confirm your appointment with a brief phone call to officially place you on our schedule.

2. A Warm Welcome

When you arrive, you’ll enter through our touchless doors, designed to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment. Our friendly front desk team will be ready to greet you and help you get started.

3. Medical History and Insurance

To get a complete picture of your dental and medical background, we’ll ask you to fill out a few forms, and we’ll also gather your insurance information at the front desk. This allows us to make your treatment as smooth and tailored as possible.

4. X-Rays and Gentle Cleaning

One of our skilled hygienists will then lead you to an exam room, where we may take any necessary x-rays to get a thorough look at your dental health. Following this, you’ll enjoy a gentle, refreshing cleaning to remove any plaque or tartar and ensure your teeth feel their best.

5. Meet the Doctor

Finally, you’ll have a check-up with one of our experienced doctors, who will review your x-rays and conduct a comprehensive examination. We’ll discuss any questions or concerns you may have, and go over a plan to keep your smile bright and healthy for the long term.

We take pride in being a family practice and serving generations of patients with quality care. We look forward to welcoming you into our practice and providing you with a respectful, comfortable experience. Should you have any additional questions before your visit, feel free to call us. See you soon!
